It’s All About Tradition!
Recognizing the demand for a truly traditional German – American polka band that also offers a variety of musical genres, Alpine Squeeze got its start in 2005 in Orange County, NY. Since then, the band has performed at many popular venues and festivals in the New York, tri-state area, as well as Las Vegas, Boston, Newport, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Florida, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, and Canada.
What people enjoy most about Alpine Squeeze is that our performances blend the traditional songs of “Oktoberfest” with popular music that people can sing and dance to. Spirited polka’s and enchanting waltzes, Latin, pop, country and jazz are all in the mix!
Alpine Squeeze is comfortable performing on any size stage – as large as the Summer Stage in Central Park, NY with an audience of over 4000, or small, more intimate events at local clubs and restaurants.
Alpine Squeeze partners with several German dance groups to bring traditional “Schuhplattler” dances to the floor. In addition to the traditional dances, festivals come alive with audience participation dances that are sure to please!
